Basic Working Principle Of Check Valve
The basic working principle of Sanitary Check Valve is to achieve automatic opening and closing through the weight of its opening and closing parts (valve flap) and the medium pressure, thereby effectively preventing the medium from flowing back. Specifically:
Forward flow: When the medium flows in from the inlet end, the valve flap is pushed open under the action of the medium pressure, and the medium can flow. At this time, the valve flap is pushed open by the thrust, and the fluid passes through the valve smoothly.
Reverse flow: When the medium flows back, the valve flap closes under the dual action of its own weight and the pressure of the backflow medium to prevent the medium from flowing back. Once the medium pressure decreases or reverse flow occurs, the valve flap will quickly close under the action of fluid pressure and self-weight, thereby cutting off the backflow path of the fluid.
This automatic opening and closing feature of the check valve makes it play an important role in pipeline systems that need to prevent medium backflow, and is widely used in pipeline systems in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, cosmetics and other industries.
