Function And Working Principle Of Aseptic Diaphragm Valve
Sanitary Diaphragm Valve uses a diaphragm made of soft seals such as rubber or plastic, which has good sealing performance. Since the diaphragm is a consumable part, it should be replaced regularly depending on the characteristics of the medium. Aseptic diaphragm valves are limited by diaphragm materials. Diaphragm valves are suitable for low pressure and relatively low temperature occasions. Its most prominent feature is that the diaphragm separates the inner cavity of the lower valve body from the inner cavity of the upper valve cover, so that the valve stem, valve disc and other parts above the diaphragm are not corroded by the medium, eliminating the packing sealing structure, and the diaphragm valve will not leak the medium. The aseptic diaphragm valve actually has a flexible diaphragm or a combined diaphragm installed in the valve body and the valve cover, and its closing part is a compression device connected to the diaphragm. The valve seat can be a weir shape or a pipe wall of a straight flow channel.
Function and working principle of aseptic diaphragm valve:
1. The aseptic diaphragm valve connects the low-pressure safety oil system of lubricating oil and the high-pressure safety oil system of EH oil. Its function is that when the low-pressure safety oil pressure of the lubricating oil system drops to 1.4Mpa, it can pass through the EH oil system.
2. When the steam turbine is working normally, the turbine oil of the lubrication system flows into the oil chamber on the piston in the valve, overcoming the spring force, making the valve in the closed position, blocking the oil leakage channel of the EH emergency shut-off oil main pipe, and putting the EH system into operation. When the emergency shut-off device is actuated or the brake is manually opened, the turbine oil pressure can be reduced or eliminated, so that the compression spring opens to drain the EH emergency shut-off oil and close all the steam inlet valves.
3. In the aseptic diaphragm valve, since the working medium contacts only the diaphragm and the valve body, both of which can be made of a variety of different materials, the valve can ideally control a variety of working media, especially suitable for media with chemical corrosion or suspended particles.
4. The working temperature of the aseptic diaphragm valve is usually limited by the materials used for the diaphragm and the valve body lining, and its working temperature range is about -50 to 175 degrees.
5. The aseptic diaphragm valve has a simple structure and consists of only three main components: the valve body, the diaphragm and the valve cover assembly. The valve is easy to disassemble and repair quickly, and the replacement of the diaphragm can be completed on site and in a short time.
6. The separation of the operating mechanism and the medium passage makes the diaphragm valve not only suitable for food and medical and sanitary industrial production, but also suitable for some difficult-to-transport and dangerous media. The application of more artificial synthetic rubbers and engineering plastics, as well as a wider selection of valve body lining materials, have made diaphragm valves widely used in various fields of modern industry.
