1. Uses and advantages of high-platform ball valve
(1) Small fluid resistance. The full-diameter high-platform ball valve has basically no flow resistance.
(2) Simple structure, small size and light weight.
(3) Tight and reliable. It has two sealing surfaces, and the sealing surface materials of high-platform ball valves are widely used in various plastics, with good sealing performance and can achieve * sealing. It has also been widely used in vacuum systems.
(4) Easy to operate, fast opening and closing, only need to rotate 90° from full open to full closed, which is convenient for long-distance control.
(5) Easy maintenance. The ball valve has a simple structure and the sealing ring is generally movable, which is convenient for disassembly and replacement.
(6) When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surface of the ball and the valve seat is isolated from the medium. When the medium passes through, it will not cause erosion on the valve sealing surface.
(7) It has a wide range of applications, with diameters ranging from a few millimeters to several meters, and can be used from high vacuum to high pressure.

II. Precautions for high-platform ball valves
The high-platform ball valve only allows the medium to flow in one direction, and it has a directionality when installed. The structural length of the high-platform ball valve is greater than that of the gate valve, and the fluid resistance is large. During long-term operation, the sealing reliability is not strong.
The basic principle of installing a high platform ball valve is low inlet and high outlet. Just install it according to the flow direction mark. If it is installed in the opposite direction, it can work in theory, but when the high platform ball valve is closed, the pressure still remains in the valve cavity, and the valve cover and upper seal are still under pressure, which greatly increases the probability of leakage of the valve.
Since the inlet and outlet of the cut-off ball valve are asymmetrical, the medium should flow through the valve port from bottom to top during installation, that is, low inlet and high outlet, so that the valve can be opened with less effort and the packing is not easy to leak. It really plays the role of cutting off and regulating pressure and flow.
