How To Extend The Service Life Of High Platform Ball Valve?
Sanitary Ball Valve How to extend the service life?
During the use of high platform ball valves, the effect is affected by the sealing, so the sealing is very important for the valve, so how can we improve the sealing of platform ball valves?
Generally speaking, the main factors affecting the sealing of high platform ball valves are the material selection and the form of the mechanism.
1. The tightness of the high platform ball valve is also related to its structure. Different structures have different tightness effects. Selecting suitable tightness materials and reasonable structural requirements can obtain the high tightness of stainless steel high platform ball valves.
2. The sealing seat of the high platform ball valve generally has a pre-tightening pressure ratio of about 0.1 nominal pressure, but not less than 1.02mpa. The adjustment of the pre-tightening pressure ratio of the sealing seat is determined by adjusting the thickness of the gasket. The thickness error will affect the tightness of the entire stainless steel high platform ball valve, so reasonable adjustment is the key.
When using high platform ball valves, enterprises hope to extend its service life and reduce costs. So what methods can we use to extend the service life of high platform ball valves?
1. After the ball valve is installed, it should be regularly inspected to ensure its normal operation.
2. The storage environment should be paid attention to. It should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and both ends of the passage should be blocked.
3. It should be checked regularly, and the dirt on it should be removed, and anti-rust oil should be applied on its surface.
4. The sealing performance of the ball valve should be tested to ensure its performance.
5. If the ball valve is used in a harsh environment and is easily contaminated by rain, snow, dust, wind and sand, etc., a protective cover should be installed for the valve stem.
6. The ball valve in operation should be intact, the bolts on the flange and the bracket are complete, the threads are intact, and there is no loosening.
7. The packing gland is not allowed to be skewed or have no pre-tightening clearance.
8. Check the wear of the trapezoidal threads of the valve stem and the valve stem nut, whether the packing is outdated and invalid, etc., and make necessary replacements.
9. Avoid knocking the ball valve in operation, or supporting heavy objects, etc.
