1. When the sanitary butterfly valve is rusted by the attachment of dissimilar metals

When the "incidental rust" caused by iron powder or the situation is not too serious, it can be easily removed by wiping with a sponge or cloth, plus a neutral detergent or soapy water. Then rinse with clean water, and be careful not to leave the cleaning solution on it. This level of rust removal, as long as the cleaning work is done immediately, is not only easy to maintain, but also more effective, and the cleaning cost is also very cheap.

But if it is left alone, it will soon form a mixture of iron hydroxide, iron oxide, iron sulfite, etc., and present a serious rust state of tea brown. In this case, it can be completely cleaned with commercially available stainless steel cleaning solution or 15℅ dilution of nitric acid. In the workplace area or the environment with heavy traffic in the city, the surface of stainless steel is easily contaminated, and sometimes small spots of rust will appear. Most of these conditions are caused by the exhaust gas from cars, air conditioners, or harmful components contained in factory exhaust gas.

Moreover, it rusts faster than other areas, and the treatment method is the same as in case 1. When using stainless steel exterior in coastal areas, it is hoped that more corrosion-resistant SUS 316 stainless steel is used as stainless steel as much as possible. As for using SUS 304 as stainless steel exterior, it is best to do regular cleaning 3-4 times a year.

4. Rusting caused by sanitary valves attached to cleaning liquid

If it cannot be cleaned with a neutral detergent, use a cleaning liquid to remove it.

5. Rust on sanitary butterfly valves caused by hand dirt or fingerprints

If neutral detergent cannot be used to clean it, use a sponge or cloth dipped in an organic solvent (alcohol, light oil, acetone, etc.) to wipe it. If this method still cannot completely remove it, use stainless steel cleaning liquid to clean it. In short, after cleaning with various cleaning methods, you must rinse it with clean water again.
