Processing Methods Of Sanitary Pipe Fittings

The material of Sanitary Valve is mostly high-quality stainless steel, and there are many different processing methods for different process materials. Usually, it is processed through a series of physical changes. Common processing methods include stamping, forging, roller processing, rolling, bulging, bending and other processing methods. The processing of stainless steel pipe fittings is an organic combination of machining and technical pressure processing. Let's introduce the differences between various processing methods.

Forging method: This processing method is relatively simple, that is, the stainless steel pipe is directly punched and stretched with a forging machine to reduce the outer diameter. Commonly used forging machines include rotary, connecting rod, and roller types

Impact method: Use some specific tools on the punch press to expand the end of the pipe to the required size and shape.

Roller method: Place a core in the pipe, and use a roller to push the outer periphery for round edge processing.

Rolling method: Generally, no mandrel is used, which is suitable for the inner round edge of thick-walled pipes.

Bending method for sanitary pipe fittings: There are three commonly used methods. One method is called stretching method, another method is called stamping method, and the third method is the roller method that everyone is familiar with. There are 3 to 4 rollers, two fixed rollers, and one adjustment roller. The fixed roller spacing is adjusted, and the finished pipe fittings are bent. This method is widely used. If spiral pipes are produced, the curvature can be increased.

Bulging method for sanitary pipe fittings: One method is to place rubber in the pipe, compress it with a punch on the top, so that the pipe bulges out; the other method is hydraulic bulging forming, filling liquid in the middle of the pipe, and relying on liquid pressure to bulge the pipe into the required shape. Most of the production of corrugated pipes that we commonly use uses this method.

In short, sanitary pipe fittings are widely used and have many types. Japan's production methods are all licensed, and some pipe fittings production methods and processes have applied for patents. There are many patents for pipe fittings, most of which are combined processing. There is a big gap in the processing of pipe fittings in my country. For example, the three-way and four-way used in bicycles have adopted bulging-formed pipe heads abroad as early as four or five years, while Chinese manufacturers may still use welding methods. People hardly know about this kind of thing, and it is difficult to accept new things. Even if there are, sanitary pipe fittings manufacturers may not be willing to change this process. my country has developed very slowly in this area of pipe fittings and is relatively backward.
