Sanitary Valve valve types and production standards

Sanitary valve manufacturers 3a and iso refer to 3A sanitary certification and ISO standard certification respectively. These two are internationally recognized standards and are also the most widely used standards by sanitary valve manufacturers. What is the difference between them?

The 3A Sanitary Standards Company was actually established in 2002 and was jointly organized by five different organizations in the United States, namely: the American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI), the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS), the International Federation of Food Hygiene Protection (IAFP), the International Dairy Foods Federation (IDFA), and the 3-A Sanitary Standards Mark Council. The leadership of 3-A SSI includes the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the 3-A Steering Committee.

As a non-profit organization, the main task of this newly established 3A Sanitary Standards Company 3A SSI is to provide product hygiene and safety guarantees for dairy, food, beverage and pharmaceutical products manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and end consumers by specifying and applying these voluntary 3A sanitary standards and implementation guidelines.

The predecessor of ISO is the International Association for Standardization (ISA), which was established in 1926 (in 1926, the third joint meeting of representatives of standardization organizations of seven countries including the United States, Britain, Canada and others decided to establish the International Association for Standardization, which was established in 1928). The outbreak of World War II forced ISA to stop working.

After the war, the general environment provided conditions for industrial recovery, so in October 1946, leaders from 25 national standardization organizations gathered in London to discuss the establishment of the International Organization for Standardization, and called this new organization ISO, which is the abbreviation of International Standard Organization.

The meeting unanimously passed the ISO Charter and Rules of Procedure. ISO officially began operation on February 23, 1947, and ISO's central office is located in Geneva, Switzerland. China is both the initiator and the first member country.

There are many types of sanitary valves, which can generally be divided into: stainless steel sanitary butterfly valves, three-piece butterfly valves, quick-install butterfly valves, round screw butterfly valves, pneumatic butterfly valves, stainless steel sanitary diaphragm valves, sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valves, stainless steel sanitary ball valves, dairy ball valves, no-dead-angle ball valves, sanitary clamp ball valves, stainless steel sanitary check valves, welded check valves, and sampling valves. Different types of valves can be selected according to different situations.
