3. It is tight and reliable. At present, the sealing surface material of the ball valve is widely made of plastic, which has good sealing performance and has been widely used in vacuum systems.
4. The high platform ball valve is easy to operate and open and close quickly. It only needs to rotate 90° from full open to full closed, which is convenient for long-distance control.
5. It is easy to maintain. The ball valve has a simple structure, and the sealing ring is generally movable, which is convenient for disassembly and replacement.
6. When the high platform ball valve is fully open or fully closed, the sealing surface of the ball and the valve seat is isolated from the medium. When the medium passes through, it will not cause erosion of the valve sealing surface.
Disadvantages of high platform ball valve:
1. Because the main valve seat sealing ring material of the ball valve is polytetrafluoroethylene, it is inert to almost all chemical substances, and has the comprehensive characteristics of small friction coefficient, stable performance, not easy to age, wide temperature application range and excellent sealing performance.
2. Its adjustment performance is worse than that of the stop valve, especially the pneumatic valve.
