What You Should Know About Pneumatic Three-piece Butterfly Valve
Sanitary Butterfly Valve mainly consists of three parts: valve body, valve plate and pneumatic actuator. The valve body is usually made of cast iron, stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials, while the valve plate is a disc-shaped metal sheet that can rotate in the valve body. The pneumatic actuator is responsible for driving the rotation of the valve plate.
-Valve plate rotation: When the pneumatic actuator receives a control signal, it will push the valve plate to rotate. This rotation can be 90 degrees or other angles, depending on the specific design.
-Flow control: The rotation of the valve plate changes the size of the flow channel, thereby controlling the flow of the fluid. When the valve plate is open, the fluid can flow freely; when the valve plate is closed, the fluid is blocked.
